VoterSpeak has developed a Letter Wizard to help guide you through
the process of writing a letter to your elected officials. Based on our
Letter Generation Guide, there are 5 simple
steps for writing your letter:
- Enter
your information
-- Your name, address and especially zip code! We'll use that to
find out who your elected representatives are and find you their addresses.
- Choose the type of letter you
want to write: Are you in favour of something? against it? curious about
where your senator is on the issue? need help? You choose! We will
get you started with some sample text and you take it from there.
- Edit your letter and let
your officials hear directly from you. Let the Letter Wizard take
care of formatting, you just concentrate on what you want to say.
- Next, choose your recipient --
Who needs to read this letter? The Letter Wizard will provide a
list of your elected officials or you can type in someone else's
address.
- Finally, review your letter
one last time before you
save/print/download , you are all finished!
Print from your browser and mail it in, download it as a PDF file
or download it as a DOC file and make more edits and updates. The
important thing is, you have the letter finished, the format is
right and the address is automatically loaded into the letter for you!
